We accept purchase orders for our services. For a quote, please contact scott@sbctrainingllc.com.

๐Ÿ“ Product Description:

Designed for instructors and students who want a clear, hands-on approach to relay diagnostics, this standalone module is a powerful addition to the MMTS-based training system. Housed in a rugged, classroom-ready enclosure with embedded magnets, it securely mounts to any ferrous surface without requiring additional brackets or hardware.

The front panel includes a clear schematic view and a built-in observation window, allowing students to see the internal movement of the relay during operation. Integrated banana jacks offer fast, tool-free connections, while clearly labeled test points provide easy access for measuring voltage, diagnosing faults, or tracing signal paths.

A custom-built internal circuit board allows instructors to quickly insert realistic electrical faultsโ€”such as open circuits or high-resistance connectionsโ€”on both the coil side and the switch side of the relay. Itโ€™s the perfect tool for reinforcing voltage drop testing and real-world troubleshooting strategies.

๐Ÿ”Ž Note: This product includes only the relay module.
For a complete training setup including protective storage and a schematic mat, see the Relay Kit Add-On.

โœ… Features:

  • Built-in magnets allow the module to mount firmly to MMTS schematic mats or any ferrous surface for convenient use is classroom or lab settings.

  • Front-facing schematic with viewing window to observe relay operation

  • Quick-connect banana jacks for easy wiring and test lead access

  • Internal fault-insertion board for creating open or high-resistance faults

  • Optimized for repeatable, real-world diagnostic practice

Each unit is manufactured in the United States, with select components sourced globally to ensure quality and long-term reliability.

Compatibility: This relay module is designed to work seamlessly with the Magnetic Mat Training System (MMTS) but can also be used independently on any ferrous surface or training bench setup.

  1. Mounting: Embedded rare-earth magnets ensure a strong, repositionable hold without requiring tools or brackets.

  2. Educational Utility: The front-facing schematic and built-in observation window give students visual reinforcement of key concepts like current flow, contact movement, and relay operation.

  3. Instructor Control: Fault points are internally selectable, allowing instructors to introduce open or high-resistance conditions on either the coil or switch circuit as needed for training or testing scenarios.

  4. Construction: Each unit is manufactured in the United States, assembled and tested for reliability in training environments. Select electronic components are sourced globally to ensure performance and availability.

  5. Serviceability: The relay module is built for rugged classroom use. If repairs or replacements are ever needed, the internal components are accessible via removable fasteners for long-term serviceability.
